Moving Docs: Bringing Documentaries Closer to You
Dear Reader,

Around this time of year, we always have the great pleasure to announce the slate of documentary projects that has been selected for our annual pitching workshop Lisbon Docs. And you can believe us when we say: we're absolutely excited about this year's line up! 22 projects from 18 countries will participate in this upcoming 20th anniversary edition of the event, featuring a great variety of different topics and, of course, compelling and inspiring stories. An intense week awaits the project teams in Lisbon, where they will optimize their stories with the help of experienced tutors prior to pitching their project to a panel of experts from various parts of the industry. This year's panelist line up includes representatives from YLE, TVP, Visions du Réel, The Guardian, Czech TV, Cinephil, TRT World, Lucky You, ERT and FilmIn. We really look forward to Lisbon Docs and can't wait to meet everyone in person in a few weeks time. The official announcement and list of selected projects can be found here. Apart from that, we're also happy to let you know that members of EDN can save up to €70 on registrations for Leipzig Networking Days when registering before 30th of September. It's a great opportunity to gain insights regarding the international TV landscape, new slots for docs or fresh projects for the international market. Here you can find more information on how to secure your discounted delegation pass!

Have a nice weekend,
The EDN Team
